Darshan at 9 Shakti Peeths + Tarapith in 3 days by private car from Kolkata, ₹19,000 per car. 2, 4 and 6-day tours too, planned around temple timings.
Our West Bengal Shakti Peeth tour packages take you to the Shakti Peeths of Bengal — plus Tarapith — by private car from Kolkata, in two to six days. By most counts West Bengal holds more Shakti Peeths than any other state, but they are spread across seven districts with little direct transport between them. We plan the temple order around opening hours and bhog breaks, so you reach each shrine while it is open for darshan.
Our main tour covers 9 Shakti Peeths and Tarapith in 3 days for ₹19,000 per car. Short on time? The 2-day tour covers Tarapith and five Birbhum Peeths. Want every temple in South Bengal? The 4-day tour covers 12 Peeths and Tarapith. Prices are per vehicle, with no hotel markup: you choose and pay for your own rooms, and we suggest good ones on your route.
All prices are per car, not per person, for the whole tour from Kolkata and back. They include fuel, tolls, parking and the driver's allowance. Hotels and meals are not included.

The weeks around Durga Puja and Kali Puja are the most special time for Shakti Peeth darshan — and the busiest. Plan around these 2026 dates:
For festival dates, book your car at least a week ahead. For quieter darshan, travel on weekdays and avoid the festival nights themselves. Visiting Kolkata for the pujas? See our Durga Puja 2026 guide.
The temple order follows the road and each temple's opening hours, so you are never racing a bhog closure. Times are a guide; your driver adjusts them to traffic and queues.

Tarapith & Birbhum Shakti Peeth Tour (2 Days / 1 Night)

All 13 Shakti Peeths + Tarapith in 6 Days (with Bhramari Devi)
The thirteenth Shakti Peeth of Bengal, Bhramari Devi, stands near Jalpaiguri in North Bengal — roughly 600 km north of Kolkata and far from the other twelve. Adding it takes two more days.
Price: Sedan ₹45,000 · Innova ₹57,000, per car, including the car's return to Kolkata. Train and flight tickets are not included.
Already going to North Bengal? It is easier to add Bhramari Devi to that holiday — it is about an hour from NJP — and do the other twelve from Kolkata separately.

Private Car vs Hotel-Included Shakti Peeth Packages
Most Shakti Peeth packages from Kolkata bundle the car with hotels and breakfast. We sell the car and plan the route; you choose your own rooms. For a family of four on the 9 Peeth, 3-day tour, the difference looks like this:
| EasyGoCab private car (sedan) | Typical hotel-included package | |
|---|---|---|
| Price for 4 people | ₹19,000 car + about ₹8,000 for two rooms, two nights = about ₹27,000 | ₹40,400 to ₹53,000 |
| Per person | about ₹6,750 | ₹10,100 to ₹13,250 |
| Tarapith | Included | Sometimes an extra-cost add-on |
| Hotels | Your choice, paid directly to the hotel | Chosen by the operator |
| Meals | Eat where you like | Breakfast only |
| Start date | Any day | Any day or fixed departures |
Hotel-included prices are the published rates of two Kolkata operators for a 9 Peeth, 3-day tour for four people, checked in October 2026. Our hotel figure is an estimate for two rooms at about ₹2,000 a night; your actual cost depends on the rooms you choose.

Quick facts: Body part: toes of the right foot · Devi: Kalika · Bhairava: Nakuleshwar · South Kolkata, beside the Adi Ganga · Open: 5:00 AM–2:00 PM and 5:00–10:30 PM · Time needed: 1–2 hours, more on Tuesdays, Saturdays and Amavasya · In tours: 3, 4 and 6-day
Kalighat is Kolkata's own Shakti Peeth and one of the busiest temples in Bengal. It stands on the old course of the Ganga, and the city's name is often linked to it. The present temple dates from the early 19th century, and the goddess is worshipped in her fierce form, with a long golden tongue and three eyes. Our tours visit at 5:00 AM, when the doors open and the queue is shortest, or on the evening you return.
Practical note: the temple closes from 2:00 to 5:00 PM. If a priest offers a special puja, agree on the charge before it begins. Many pilgrims pair Kalighat with Dakshineswar and Belur Math — they are not Shakti Peeths, but we can add them on a Kolkata sightseeing tour.
Quick facts: Body part: left ankle · Devi: Kapalini, worshipped as Bargabhima · Bhairava: Sarvananda · Tamluk town, Purba Medinipur, about 90 km from Kolkata · Open: about 7:00 AM–8:30 PM, with a short midday bhog break · In tours: 4 and 6-day
Tamluk was Tamralipta, the ancient port from which ships once sailed for South-East Asia and Sri Lanka, and Bargabhima has been its guardian goddess for centuries. The temple stands in the old town near the Rupnarayan river. It is the one Peeth in the south-west, so our 4-day tour visits it on Day 1 with Ratnavali.
Quick facts: Body part: right shoulder · Devi: Kumari · Bhairava: Shiva · Khanakul, Hooghly district, on the Ratnakar river · Open: hours not published — we confirm before your visit · In tours: 4 and 6-day
Khanakul is a quiet rural block in the Arambagh area — the region where social reformer Raja Ram Mohan Roy was born. The Ratnavali Peeth takes its name from the Ratnakar river. It is one of the least visited of the Bengal Peeths, and some lists place the Ratnavali Peeth elsewhere; pilgrims who want all of South Bengal's Peeths include it.
Quick facts: Body part: right big toe · Devi: Jogadya · Bhairava: Kshirakantak · Khirgram, Mangalkot block, about 23 km from Katwa on the Katwa–Bardhaman road · Open: about 6:00 AM–9:00 PM · In tours: 3, 4 and 6-day
Local tradition says the goddess appeared in a dream to a king of Khirgram, who installed her image here. When the old idol was once found broken, a sculptor from Dainhat carved an exact copy, paid for by the Maharaja of Bardhaman. Jogadya is the first temple on Day 1 of our 3-day tour.
Quick facts: Body part: right elbow · Devi: Mangal Chandika · Bhairava: Kapilambar · Kogram, at the meeting of the Ajay and Kunur rivers · Open: about 5:00 AM–8:00 PM · In tours: 3, 4 and 6-day
Kogram stands where old Ujaninagar once spread along the river — the town of the Manasamangal stories, remembered as Behula's father's home. The village is also the birthplace of the poet Kumud Ranjan Mallik. The river setting makes this one of the most peaceful stops on the tour.
Quick facts: Body part: left arm · Devi: Bahula · Bhairava: Bhiruk · Ketugram, Katwa subdivision, Purba Bardhaman · Open: hours not published — we confirm before your visit · In tours: 3, 4 and 6-day
Bahula is a small village shrine and the last Bardhaman Peeth before the drive to Bolpur. Some traditions place a second Attahas site at Dakshindihi near Katwa, close to Bahula; our tours visit the Attahas temple at Labpur in Birbhum.
Birbhum holds five Shakti Peeths and Tarapith within about 100 km of each other — the heart of every Shakti Peeth tour. Bolpur and Tarapith are the two bases.
Quick facts: Body part: waist · Devi: Devgarbha · Bhairava: Ruru · On the Kopai river, about 9 km from Bolpur · Open: 6:00 AM–8:00 PM; bhog 12:00–2:00 PM · In tours: all
The name comes from kankal, the waist. Pilgrims gather at the sacred pond beside the temple, where tradition says the relic lies. It is the closest Peeth to Santiniketan, so we visit early on the morning after your night in Bolpur.
Quick facts: Body part: lower lip · Devi: Phullara · Bhairava: Vishwesh · Near Labpur town · Open: about 5:30 AM–1:00 PM and 3:30–8:30 PM · In tours: all
Attahas means loud laughter. The Phullara temple is a quiet, tree-shaded shrine and a calm stop between Bolpur and Bakreshwar. Labpur is also the birthplace of the novelist Tarashankar Bandyopadhyay.
Quick facts: Body part: the point between the eyebrows · Devi: Mahishmardini · Bhairava: Vakranath · Bakreshwar, near Dubrajpur · Open: about 6:30 AM–1:00 PM and 5:00–9:00 PM · In tours: all
Bakreshwar is famous for its ten hot springs — among them Agni Kunda, Surya Kunda and Brahma Kunda — around the temple complex. Many pilgrims bathe in the warm water before darshan. Some springs are very hot, so test the water first, and keep children and seniors at the cooler pools.
Quick facts: Body part: throat (nala) · Devi: Kalika · Bhairava: Yogesh · Nalhati, 16 km from Rampurhat and 22 km from Tarapith · Open: about 5:30 AM–8:30 PM; anna bhog around 1:30 PM · In tours: all
Nalhati is the closest Shakti Peeth to Tarapith, so it is an easy morning stop after your night there, with time to reach Sainthia before lunch.
Quick facts: Body part: necklace (some accounts say collarbone) · Devi: Nandini · Bhairava: Nandikeshwar · Sainthia town · Open: about 6:00 AM–10:00 PM · In tours: all
The present temple was built in 1913. The goddess is a black stone covered in sindoor, so it looks almost red, with a silver crown and three golden eyes. Devotees tie red and yellow threads on the large banyan tree in the courtyard when they make a wish.

Tarapith: The Siddha Peeth of Maa Tara
Quick facts: Deity: Maa Tara · A Siddha Peeth; local tradition says Sati's third eye fell here · On the Dwarka river, Birbhum, about 220 km from Kolkata · Open: about 5:30 AM–10:00 PM; the temple closes for a while after the midday bhog · Evening aarti at dusk · In tours: all
Tarapith is not in most standard lists of the 51 Shakti Peeths, but almost every Shakti Peeth pilgrim in Bengal comes here. The temple stands beside the Maha Smashan, the cremation ground where the 19th-century saint Bamakhepa practised his sadhana. We plan an evening arrival for the aarti and a morning darshan before you leave, when queues are shortest.
Plan around Amavasya: every new-moon night, and above all Kaushiki Amavasya and Kali Puja, Tarapith fills with pilgrims and rooms sell out. Book early for those dates. For a direct car with fares and timings, see Kolkata to Tarapith cab.
Quick facts: Body part: crown (kirit) · Devi: Vimala, worshipped as Kiriteswari · Bhairava: Samvarta · Kiritkona village, Nabagram block, about 3 km from Lalbag Court Road station · Open: hours not published — we confirm before your visit · In tours: 4 and 6-day
Kiriteswari is often called the oldest temple in Murshidabad district. The present temple was rebuilt in the 19th century by Darpanarayan, king of Lalgola, after the older shrine was destroyed. The goddess is worshipped as a black stone in the sanctum. In 2023 the Union Ministry of Tourism named Kiriteswari the Best Tourism Village of India, and the village is known for Hindu and Muslim neighbours sharing in temple life.
Our 4-day tour visits on the way home from Tarapith. If you have a spare day, Murshidabad's Hazarduari Palace is close by — ask us to add it, or see our Murshidabad cab service.
Quick facts: Body part: left leg · Devi: Bhramari · Bhairava: Ishwar · Jalpaiguri district, by the Teesta river · Open: hours not published — we confirm before your visit · In tours: 6-day only
Bhramari Devi, the Trisrota Peeth, is the one Bengal Shakti Peeth far from the rest — in the Teesta plains of North Bengal. The exact site is debated, and some lists place the Bhramari Peeth outside Bengal altogether. Pilgrims completing all 13 Bengal Peeths visit the temple near Jalpaiguri.
The easiest way to include it: add it to a North Bengal holiday. It is a short drive from NJP and Bagdogra, so it fits into a Dooars holiday or the first day of a Darjeeling trip from NJP.
Most pilgrim lists name 13 Shakti Peeths in West Bengal: Kalighat, Bargabhima, Ratnavali, Jogadya, Ujani, Bahula, Kankalitala, Attahas, Bakreshwar, Nalateshwari, Nandikeshwari, Kiriteswari and Bhramari Devi. You will also see 14, for three reasons:
Our tours cover the 13 most pilgrims visit, plus Tarapith — 14 temples in all on the 6-day tour.
We do not add a markup on hotels. You book the rooms you like and pay the hotel directly; when you book your car, we send suggestions for your dates and budget.
The driver's night halt is part of the tour price; you do not need to arrange his room.
Most pilgrim lists name 13: Kalighat in Kolkata; Bargabhima at Tamluk and Ratnavali at Khanakul; Jogadya, Ujani and Bahula in Purba Bardhaman; Kankalitala, Attahas, Bakreshwar, Nalateshwari and Nandikeshwari in Birbhum; Kiriteswari in Murshidabad; and Bhramari Devi in North Bengal. Some sources count 14 with a slightly different set. Our tours cover all 13 plus Tarapith.
Tarapith is revered as a Siddha Peeth of Maa Tara, and local tradition says Sati's third eye fell here, but it is not in most standard lists of the 51 Shakti Peeths. Nearly every pilgrim includes it anyway, so all our tours stop there.
Choose the 9 Shakti Peeth tour (3 days) if you want the best balance of temples, time and price. Choose the 2-day tour if you have a weekend or are going mainly to Tarapith. Choose the 12 Shakti Peeth tour (4 days) to cover every Peeth in South Bengal, and the 6-day tour to complete all 13 with Bhramari Devi.
Prices are per car, not per person. In a sedan: ₹13,000 for the 2-day tour, ₹19,000 for the 9 Shakti Peeth 3-day tour, ₹24,000 for the 12 Shakti Peeth 4-day tour and ₹45,000 for all 13 plus Tarapith in 6 days. Four people sharing the 9 Peeth sedan pay about ₹4,750 each; twelve in a Tempo Traveller (₹29,000) pay about ₹2,420 each. Hotels and meals are extra. One or two travellers can book a sedan at the same price.
Six days. Twelve Peeths plus Tarapith fit in four days from Kolkata. The thirteenth, Bhramari Devi, is near Jalpaiguri in North Bengal, about 600 km north, so it adds two days — or you can visit it on a separate Dooars or Darjeeling trip.
Yes, a few. Kalighat is in the city, and Bargabhima at Tamluk and Ratnavali at Khanakul fit in one long day by car. The Birbhum Peeths and Tarapith are four to six hours north, so they need at least two days. Ask us on WhatsApp for a one-day quote.
No. We provide the car and driver; you book your own rooms, so you pay the hotel's own price with no markup. Pilgrims usually stay in Bolpur (Santiniketan) and at Tarapith, where lodges are a short walk from the temple. When you book, we send suggestions that suit your dates and budget.
October to March is the most comfortable. Festival days are the most special and the most crowded: Durga Puja runs from Shashthi on 16 October to Dashami on 21 October 2026, and Kali Puja falls on 8 November 2026. For these dates, book a week or more ahead.
Most temples open early and close for a while around midday for bhog. Kalighat is open 5:00 AM to 2:00 PM and 5:00 to 10:30 PM; Tarapith is open about 5:30 AM to 10:00 PM. We set the temple order so you reach each shrine while it is open, and our driver confirms hours on the day.
Yes, at the right pace. We plan no more than four or five temples a day, and the driver drops you as close to each gate as parking allows. Tell us about mobility needs when you book and we will reorder or drop stops.
Yes, as a custom tour. Deoghar (Baidyanath Dham, Jharkhand) can be added after Tarapith by road. Kamakhya in Guwahati is better reached by flight or train; we can handle the Bengal part by car. Message us on WhatsApp for a quote.
